His illustrious journey in medicine commenced with advanced training at the renowned St Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney. Further enhancing his skills, Dr. O’Loughlin completed prestigious Interventional Cardiology fellowships at both Westmead Hospital in Sydney and the esteemed Stanford Hospital in the United States.
Academically, Dr. O’Loughlin is highly accomplished, holding a Masters degree in Biostatistics and Clinical Trials and a Doctor of Philosophy by publication. His intellectual pursuits are evident in his current research, focusing on cutting-edge themes such as atherosclerosis and medical device biodesign. Presently, Dr. O’Loughlin serves as an academic interventional cardiologist at Western Sydney University.
