Dr Kate Gatman is a GP registrar who completed her medical degree at the University of Auckland. Her training included hospital attachments in renal medicine, emergency medicine, general medicine, psychiatry, paediatrics and public health, giving her a broad clinical foundation.
Kate combines a passion for providing up-to-date, evidence based care with an empathetic, patient-centered approach. She believes in taking the time to listen and understand each person’s individual needs and concerns.
With an interest in all areas of general practice, she enjoys caring for patients across all ages and has a strong focus on preventative health and early intervention. She is passionate about partnering with her patients to optimise their overall wellbeing, reduce future health risks and support sustainable lifestyle changes. She values continuity of care and strives to create a welcoming and supportive environment where patients feel heard, respected and empowered to take proactive steps toward long-term health and disease prevention.
Outside of work, she enjoys staying active at the gym and exploring Sydney’s great restaurant scene – in the name of balance, of course.
