Our dedicated team is here to guide you every step of the way, providing compassionate care tailored to your individual needs. Whether you’re a new patient or returning, we’re thrilled to have you as part of our community.
We want your first visit to be smooth and stress-free. Here’s what you can expect:
Explore our website for valuable resources, including health tips, educational articles, and information about common health conditions. We believe that informed patients make empowered decisions about their health.
Scheduling an appointment at Green Square Health is easy and convenient. You can book appointments online via HotDoc or by phoning the practice on 02 9699 8111. We run on an appointment based system to reduce the risk and incidence of significant wait times
Parking is available on-site with access via the driveway behind the building on Powell Street. You will need to drive down to the garage doors and ring the intercom for reception to allow access. Allocated car spaces are marked with Green Square Health signage. Once parked, take the lift to Ground Floor and access the clinic via Bourke Street. Alternatively, street parking may be found in the streets surrounding the clinic, with 30-minute parking directly outside the clinic after 10 am.
Upon your arrival, our reception staff will assist you with the check-in process. Please bring some photo ID and/or a Medicare card with you. To assist with facilitating our GPs to run on time please arrive 10 minutes early to complete any necessary paperwork.
If you require medical certificates for work or other purposes, please discuss your needs with your healthcare provider during your appointment. For patients covered by overseas insurance policies, please ensure you request your certificate or paperwork required for your insurance company during your consultation. Requests for certificates after your consultation may attract a separate administration fee.
While we strive to adhere to our schedule, unforeseen circumstances may cause occasional delays. We appreciate your understanding. We will do our best to inform you of any excessive wait times.
Life can be unpredictable, and we understand that circumstances may arise that require you to reschedule or cancel your appointment. We ask that you provide us with as much notice as possible if you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment. This allows our team to attend to other patients in need. As cancellations with short notice can impact our team’s ability to service other patients in need cancelled appointments within two hours of a scheduled appointment will attract a “Cancellation” fee.
Our recall system will notify you when it’s time for your next appointment or if you are due for a health check to ensure you receive timely preventive care and screenings. Your doctor will recall you if you have results that require review at an appointment. You may be contacted by the practice via SMS, phone, email, or by post. In case of emergencies and urgent recalls or communications from the practice, please ensure you advise our team of any changes made to your contact details and they are up to date.
If you require a referral, you will generally need to make an appointment. If you require a repeat referral you may be able to request this online via the HotDoc portal for repeat referrals via our website. The online facility is a private service, and no Medicare rebates are available. Terms and conditions do apply and can be reviewed here (insert link to T&Cs).
For your convenience, you can request repeat prescriptions through our HotDoc portal. Terms and conditions do apply and can be reviewed here (insert link to T&Cs).
When your test results arrive your doctor will review the result. The decision to recall you will be based on the doctors clinical decision making. If you are recalled you will receive contact from the practice either via SMS, phone, letter, or email, requesting you to make an appointment. If you do not receive contact from the clinic and would like to check if your results have returned you may call the nurse results line on 02 8197 1125.
