Diagnosis and Removal of Nerve Tumours

Common Tumour Types:
Most peripheral nerve tumours are benign (non-cancerous) and arise from the nerve covering.

  • Schwannomas
  • Neurofibromas

Diagnosis & Surgery:

These are often found incidentally or when a patient feels a lump. Once confirmed on imaging, surgery is typically indicated to provide a tissue diagnosis and remove the tumour.
